Field notes and photographs, 1889-1936.

Field notes describing archaeological artifacts found in Manhattan and the Bronx, collected by Bolton and W.L. Calver and donated by Bolton to Museum of the American Indian in 1942. Collection also contains a brief paper written by Bolton and Calver, "Discovery of an Indian Human Burial at Inwood," 1907, as well as correspondence. Also, an album containing photographs, maps, and news clippings of Inwood Hill Park, emphasizing locations of Indian remains, ca.1932-1936. Photographs are identified.
