Exhibition notebooks, 1982-1985.

Curator's notebooks used in preparation of art exhibitions. Material consists of correspondence, contractual agreements, background material on artists and art, exhibition text, press releases, slides and contact prints, exhibition catalogs, and news clippings. Past exhibitions were African-American Quiltmakers, Otto Neals - A Retrospective, Distorted Images of Black Americans, Arts of Adornment, Arts of Haiti, and The Black Artist in the WPA, 1933-1943.
