Photograph albums, 1935-1984, 1980-1984 (bulk).

Photograph albums of the following subjects: May Day, 1935 and 1937 (including programs); mortgage burning ceremony acknowledging the ownership of present building, including photos of plays and dance performances, 1980; and photographs of the spring auction, reunions, graduation exercises, alumni night, and Parents Day. Another album contains formal photographs of graduating classes and the Intergenerational Chorus, a joint project with students and senior citizens. One album contains contact prints with associated negatives of faculty and activities. Some of the photographs are identified.

The Society of Friends (or 'Quakers') was formed by George Fox (1624-1691), a shoemaker from Nottingham. In the 1640s Fox travelled throughout England delivering sermons in which he argued that individuals could have direct access to God without the need for churches, priests or other aspects of the established Church.
