This collection contains records generated by the Highland Hospital, including some material generated under its former name, Hahnemann Hospital. There are annual reports, minutes of both the Board of Directors and the Hospital Auxiliary, correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs, and other records pertaining to the hospital. This collection also contains the papers of Dr. John R. Williams, the first doctor in the United States to prescribe insulin for a patient.
