Clippings of articles by Minard and others on history of Genesee Valley and Western New York, with emphasis on Seneca Indians, Livingston and Allegany Counties, land speculators, and the town of Hume and village of Fillmore. There are also obituaries, c.1892- 1904, and material on folk expressions of Allegany County. Unpublished items include letters of John S. Minard, Ely S. Parker, and William P. Letchworth, and writings by Minard on the Caneadea Indian Reservation, Moses Van Campen, and Captain Shongo (Seneca Indian).
