Letter book, 1758-1768.

Correspondence and accounts of Nathaniel Williams detailing his involvement in commercial transactions for a series of ships trading with Europe, the West Indies, and North America, particularly North Carolina. Contains information about goods shipped; expenses of the voyages; wages to the crews; local and general business conditions; and transactions with various merchants. Five pages of the volume were used by John Wood, clerk of the court in Perquimans County, N.C., to register cattle marks, 1808-1834.
