Portfolio, circa 1893-1900.

Collotype prints of views from a portfolio of the Hillside School, Iowa County, Wis., believed to have been designed, photographed, and lettered by Frank Lloyd Wright and used between 1893 and 1900. The school was run by Jane Lloyd Jones and Ellen Lloyd Jones, aunts of Frank Lloyd Wright. Included are images of the Jones sisters; students involved in classroom activities and playing golf and football; and views of the house, school, and surrounding countryside. Also included are photographic reproductions of the original portfolio enclosure.
