Records, mainly 1984-1988, of the committee that advised the Wisconsin representative to the Midwest Interstate Low-Level Radioactive Waste Commission which was responsible for assuring the availability of disposal capacity for low-level radioactive waste generated within the boundaries of the member states. Known until 1984 as the Ad Hoc Radiation Waste Disposal Committee, the Wisconsin Advisory Committee functioned until 1990. Its records include correspondence, reports, information on the Midwest Regional Management Plan, and minutes of both committees and of the Midwest commission.
