On November 3, 1958 the six airlines filed an agreement with the Civil Aeronautics Board which provided for certain mutual assistance in the event of a strike against one of them. Chapter 513, Laws of 1945, created the Aeronautics Commission. Under the reorganization act of 1967, the Commission was merged into the Department of Transportation (WIHV85-A1884) where it became the Division of Aeronautics (WIHV85-A790).
