This series, transferred from the delegation in Canada, provides information on the major religious and social concerns in Canada in the early twentieth century. Although there is a distinct subseries for dioceses, a researcher should examine other subseries such as Religiosi, Ruteni, and so forth, to ascertain all activities of concern to the apostolic delegate within a diocese. The groups of miscellaneous or documenti vari also contain information that could have been filed in the appropriate subseries, but a careful reading of Indice 1163, described below, will lead a researcher to these items. The Sanfilippo article, "Fonti Vaticane," provides a good introduction to the series.
