Interview conducted by Odessa Neaman as part of the LDS Native American Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on March 1, 1990. Yellowjohn talks aobut her early life in the Mormon Church Indian Placement Program in Ogden, Utah, and with her mother and family in Boise, Idaho. She talks about her early life in Washakie, Utah and her memories of her family. She describes her experiences as a Mormon and relationships with other Mormons. She talks about the experiences of Mormon Native Americans and tells her reaction to the excommunication of George P. Lee.
