Comments on Oscar Wilde's letter to [Sir Sidney] Colvin. Requests her to look after Felix's [Colvin's] health. Glad she liked the Children's Songs. [3] 1892, August 20, Sydney, to H. J. Moors[?] [DS., 1 l.].--Check. "Vailima" imprinted at head. Check no. 1370. "Please deliver to bearer [crossed out] Mitaele the sum of 6 shillings ... sterling."

Robert Lewis (later changed to "Louis") Balfour Stevenson was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on November 13, 1850. He attended the University of Edinburgh intending to become a civil engineer like his father, but ill health curtailed his studies and prompted him to travel to warmer climates.
