Letter to Joseph Palmer, 1780 April 11.

Letter to Joseph Palmer in Germantown, Mass. concerning the plan for the Annustant [?] Society. He tells of consulting with two lawyers about the society's charter and received their verbal but not their financial support. He also tried to meet with a Doctor Cooper, but had the same result. He expresses hope that once the revolution is over, people will be more interested in supporting the arts and sciences. Written at Boston, Mass.
