Typewritten and bound transcript of an interview conducted by Rebecca Vorimo for the Missionary Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 28 June 1994. Kofford tells about growing up in Gunnison, Utah, the financing of her mission for the Mormon Church, her service as a missionary in New Zealand, and Matthew Cowley, an Apostle in the Mormon Church.

Matthew Cowley (1897-1953) was a lawyer, missionary, and ecclesiastical leader Utah and Oceania. He served a Mormon mission president in New Zealand between 1938 and 1945, and as an apostle of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints between 1945 and 1953.
