This ledger documents the disbursement of funds for relief of victims of the Ohio River flood of February 1884. This ledger was kept by the Board of Commissioners of the Relief Fund and includes the names of persons appointed to local relief commissions in several counties and cities; amounts distributed to these commissions, for the relief of flood victims in their area; and amounts paid to individual victims.
