Fresh Paint: The Houston School, exhibition files, 1984-1985.

This subseries documents "Fresh Paint: The Houston School" (January 26-April 7, 1985), the first major museum exhibition of paintings by contemporary Houston artists. The exhibition files include checklists; condition reports and conservation notes; installation plotplans; correspondence with lenders, many of whom were the artists themselves; publicity materials; wall label copy; and papers concerning the travelling version of the show.
