Vetoes, 1922.

These files document Governor Edwin P. Morrow's use of the governor's power and privilege to veto house and senate bills. Of note among the vetoed bills are measures limiting the ability of illiterate and physically challenged individuals to vote in the City of Louisville; a measure providing for a system of voter registration; a Louisville city government bill; and numerous road project measures. Many of the measures include notes from Governor Morrow explaining his rationale for the veto. These files contain only vetoes from March, 1922.
