Strobel and Martini prices current, 1803 May 26.

The report lists the current prices of several hundred items, quoted in francs and centimes. It bears a circular postmark and a stamp of having gone by "ship". The report contains a printed letter on the third page addressed to "Willm. Tudor Junr. Esqr. Boston" in which it is announced that war between France and England has erupted and Louisiana has been sold to the United States. To the right of the printed list of prices is a "Remarks" area in which the very latest prices of select items have been written in by hand.
