Press Secretary's videocassettes, 1987-1990.

This series consists of videocassettes that were acquired by the Press Secretary's office. The tapes are of events the Governor attended or subjects in which the Governor was interested. The content includes interviews with Hunt and other individuals, the 1987 gubernatorial inauguration, Hunt visiting various locations, and miscellaneous news broadcasts. Specific subjects include: Operation Desert Storm, raw footage of Muscle Shoals, Hunt's visit to Japan, and Helen Hunt visiting a school for handicapped persons. In addition to the Hunts, the following individuals appear on the tapes: Winton Blount III, David Bronner, Matt McDonald, Randy Owens, Terry Miller Pittman, and Cornelius Singleton. Some of the tapes were produced by the following local television stations: WBRC, Birmingham; WHNT, Huntsville; and WAKA and WSFA, Montgomery.

Winton Malcolm Blount Jr., known as Red Blount (February 1, 1921 – October 24, 2002), was the United States Postmaster General from January 22, 1969, to January 1, 1972.
