List of circumcisions (berit milah) performed by Benjamin Moritz of Kempen, 1884-1902. There are 251 entries. Each entry notes which of the three parts of milah--ḥatikhah, periʻah, and metsitsah--was performed on the child. This record is bound together with Sod ha-Shem, with the commentary of Sharviṭ ha-Zahav (Vienna, 1837) by Rabbi David Lida, of Mayence and later of Amsterdam. The book was originally published in Amsterdam, 1680. It contains the service for berit milah as well as other prayers for the child and discussions of the laws of berit milah.
