A collection of twelve autograph letters, primarily personal in nature, written between 1838 and 1870. Also present are eight engravings, two photographs, invitations, and tickets to dinners convened in Dickens's honor, as well as Dickens's visiting card. Correspondents include: Thomas Noon Talfourd, Henry Gilpin, Frederick Dickens, Arthur Hill, T.H. Maguire, Daniel Maclise, J.W. Bourke, George Augustus Sala, Arthur W.W. Smith, Eliza Davis, William Charles Kent, Thomas Wright, and John Russell Young.
