Nila Mack, actress and radio writer, director and producer was born in Arkansas City, Kansas in 1891. She began her career in vaudeville and as a leading lady in a traveling repertory company. When her husband, Roy Briant, joined Paramount Pictures as a writer, she became a member of Nazimova's company.
