Typewritten transcripts of mostly complete proceedings of ca. 3,300 criminal trials from New York County's Court of General Sessions of the Peace, the New York Supreme Court, and a small number from the Court of Oyer and Terminer and several other courts, as well as some Grand Jury proceedings. Broad range of charges includes homicide, larceny, rape, abortion, prostitution, burglary, forgery, arson, conspiracy, weapons possession, and gambling. A computerized index provides access by charge, defendant's name, and name of prosecutors, defense attorneys, and judges.
