Sentence expiration records, 1894 - [198-].

Mainly sentence expiration books (1906-1980s) that are monthly lists of convicts whose sentences were due to expire. It appears that as inmates were received, their names and register (inmate) numbers were recorded under the month in which they were due to be discharged. Information concerning an inmate's discharge or parole was then listed in the same place. The volumes for 1906-1927 and 1920-1950 also have lists of discharge dates for inmates who were scheduled for discharge after the period covered by the book. The volumes appear to have been last altered in the early 1980s, although they do contain lists of discharge dates of inmates scheduled for release up to 2037.
