German press photographic releases depicting soldiers (often SS men of the Reinhard Heydrich Regiment), war-damaged European cities, weapons, prisoners of war, captured equipment, and scenes of deployment on the Russian Front in May 1943 and in Normandy in June 1944. These items also include publicity captions in German. Also with the collection is a candid photograph of Gen. George S. Patton with other army officers.
