Ye awfile fire in Albany, 1864 January 3. [manuscript].

Written at Albany, N.Y. The manuscript was by the nephew of Gov. Horatio Seymour. A narrative of the fire at Seymour's residence on the corner of Lancaster and High Streets in Albany. The narrative, complete with illustrations describes the activities of the members of the Governor's household during the fire as well as the actions of the firefighters themselves.

Horatio Seymour (May 31, 1810 – February 12, 1886) was an American politician. He served as Governor of New York from 1853 to 1854 and from 1863 to 1864.
