From Josiah Harmar, Adjutant-General of the Pennsylvania Militia, to be distributed to the Major General and Brigadier Generals and members of the divisions of the militia which were sent to subdue the Whiskey Insurrection. Enclosed are formal thanks from the War Department, the President, the House of Representatives, and the Senate of the United States, the House of Representatives of Pennsylvania and Governor Thomas Mifflin of Pennsylvania to all militia members.
