Brown of Lima, N.Y., discussing family and local news and a journey (1843) to Detroit, Michigan; letters of Dwight Babcock, a mercantile buyer, on trips through the upper Midwest and to Europe (1850s); Babcock family correspondence (1888-1906) discussing social and family life in St. Paul (Minn.); letters from Mary Babcock Morrison and her daughter Agnes in France (1905-1906, 1911-1912), from Agnes while working for a French war relief organization (1919), and from Mary during trips to Europe, Africa, and the Middle East (1926-1927); and diaries of Mary's husband, John Henry Morrison, in St. Paul (1888) and Columbus, Ohio (1894-1895).
