Minutes, agenda materials, correspondence, financial data, and reports of this committee responsible for the preparation, planning, approval, and implementation of the renovation of the House Chamber, part of a planned comprehensive room-by-room restoration of the State Capitol to its original state. The committee served as supervisory body for the project and the records document its dealings with the architects Miller Dunwiddie Associates'; the Capitol Area Architectural and Planning Board, the Minnesota Historical Society, legislators, the Administration Department, contractors, subcontractors, and committee members. They also contain budget and cost documents and construction progress summaries. The committee was chaired by Representative Peter George Rodosovich.
