Personnel action files, 1980-[ongoing].

Whenever the Department of Agriculture and Industries considers disciplinary action against an employee, a hearing is held before any action is decided upon and taken. Such hearings are normally conducted by the department's legal counsel. Disciplinary action can be a formal repremand, suspension, or termination. These files include the charges, personnel reports, correspondence, orders and other information. Copies of most of the documents will also be placed in the individual employee's file.
