Robert N. Ferrell diary : photostat copies, 1926.

Photostat copies no. 5 and no. 9 out of 20 of Ferrell's diary, one loose and one bound, with introductory notes for each copy by E.M. Francis, both dated 1926. The diary was kept by Ferrell on his voyage from New York to San Francisco, Calif. via Cape Horn aboard the clipper ship Arkansas, June-Dec. 1849. Includes photo illustrations of the ship and a portrait of Ferrell.
