Provides a guide to materials held by the North Dakota State Archives for the Historical Data Project, North Dakota Writers' Project and the North Dakota Historical Records Survey. The Historical Data Project gathered biographical and historical information on early settlers. The North Dakota Writers' Project gathered information with the intent of publishing books about North Dakota (many were never published). The North Dakota Historical Records Survey was to discover and preserve basic materials on the history of North Dakota and therefore contains local documents for cities, churches, etc.
