William Crozier (b. Feb. 19, 1855, Carrollton, Ohio-d. Nov. 10, 1942, Washington, D.C.), Major General in the U.S. Army, graduated from West Point in 1876 and began his military career in campaigns against Indians on the frontier. He later returned to the Military Academy to teach mathematics. Other assignments were: in the office of Chief of Ordnance where he assisted in the development of new weaponry; as Inspector General of the Atlantic and Gulf Coast defenses during the Spanish-American War...
