Critical theory offprint collection, 1939-1994 (bulk 1968-1985)

This collection contains published offprints that were received by Special Collections and Archives as part of the personal papers of several prominent critical theorists. The offprints were separated because they were not of enduring value in documenting the scholarly work of the theorists with whose personal papers they were received. These include: Paul de Man Papers (MS-C04), Ihab Hassan Papers (MS-C05), and Murray Krieger Papers (MS-C02). Researchers interested in offprints of works by these theorists or offprints of works central to their scholarship should consult their personal papers in the UC Irvine Libraries Critical Theory Archive. Topical coverage of the offprints in this collection includes the academic disciplines of comparative literature, literary theory, and critical theory.
