Ernest Harrison Quayle (1891-1956) was an American geologist. Ernest Harrison "Pat" Quayle was born on May 9, 1891 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ernest and Julia Ann (Young) Quayle. Quayle served in the United States Marine Corps from April 14, 1917 to January 27, 1919, rising to the rank of 1st Sergeant. Quayle was a graduate of Stanford University with a degree in geology.
