John Elof Boodin (1869-1950) was professor of philosophy at Grinnell College (1900-4), University of Kansas (1904-13), Carleton College (1913-28), and UCLA (1928-39). He also served as president of the American Philosophical Association, Western Division (1932-33). The collection includes correspondence, lecture notes, manuscripts, student term papers, printed material, memorabilia, and photographs.
