The Office of University Relations along with the Office of Development comprises the Division of University Advancement, which works to advance the institution both externally and internally. The Office of University Relations supports the university through the offices of internal and external communications, publications, and marketing. The Office of External Communications generates communications pieces, such as news releases to the media, and responses to media inquiries on behalf of the university. The collection dates from 1948-1997 with most of the materials dating from 1977 to 1997.
