The original campus plans for the University of Florida at Gainesville were developed by the firm of Edwards & Walter. The purpose of this task force was to develop a set of possible, feasible scenarios which the University of Florida could be facing in the years 1975-2000. In January 1975, in an Interim Report, eleven committee members names were listed. Another task force set up was the Task Force on Goals. Both of these task forces appeared to grow out of an effort called the "Comprehensive Planning Process" which was to be undertaken during the academic year 1974-1975. From the guide to the Recor...
