Claiborne Stribling Jones served as Assistant to the Chancellor from 1966 to 1973 and from 1977 to 1984. In the interim, he was Vice Chancellor for Business and Finance. As Assistant to the Chancellor, he worked in all areas of University administration. Beginning in 1977, however, he specialized in the area of finance. Records consist of correspondence and other files relating to Claiborne Stribling Jones's duties as Assistant to the Chancellor.
