Part 2, Eleanor Roosevelt makes a campaign speech in California for her son James. Part 3, shows a newly completed suspension bridge over the Tacoma Narrows in Washington. Flashbacks show the collapse of its predecessor. Part 4, shows the "Mr. Canada" contest and a girls' rodeo in Childress, Texas. Part 5, a convoy rendezvous off Inchon, Korea. Naval guns bombard the beach. Gen. MacArthur observes Marines of the 1st Division going ashore.
