Gordon E. Vander Till (b. 1938) was an intern in Gerald Ford's Washington Congressional office in 1965. He received a B.A. in political science from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1966. From 1969 to 1974, he was Director of Gerald Ford's Grand Rapids office, and about 1975 he began working for the Federal Energy Administration.
