Lucy Putnam Post Frisbee (1917-1997) was the author of several biographies for children, published by the Bobbs-Merrill Company in the "Childhood of Famous Americans" series. She married U.S. Air Force Colonel John Lee Frisbee and had four sons. After beginning her writing career with Brigham Young: Covered Wagon Boy, Frisbee joined the Society of American Pen Women, an organization with which she was actively involved for many years.
