This moving image documents the experiences of the 351st Bombardment Group of the United States Army Air Forces based in England with the Royal Air Force in the Second World War. The actor Clark Gable, assigned with the 8th Air Force, developed and narrated the film. It emphasizes the experiences of the aerial gunnery crew assigned to B-17 aircraft that flew repeatedly into enemy territory on the continent of Europe to attack enemy aircraft, earning swastika stickers for each kill. In most of the footage, Gable conducted personal interviews with crew members on the ground and in the hospital. Subsequent scenes consist of combat footage.
