Glen O. Ream, born in 1893, was principal at Albuquerque High School for over thirty years. He received his M.A. from Yale University and attended a short session at the Chicago Academy of Art. Ream used the latter experience in his cartooning (which appeared in numerous publications such as the Albuquerque tribune, Baptist New Mexican magazine, New Mexico magazine, and the New Mexico school review).
