The collection consists of a vocabulary notebook, dated April 19, 1797, Sandusky, Ohio, containing English to French and Indian translations of words, numbers, and phrases. Indian tribes represented include Ottawa, Chippewa, Delaware, Munsee, Shawnee, Sauk, Wyandot, and Nodoese. Also contains notes from a law book, an English history book, and a book by Blackstone.
