S. S. Warner was the treasurer of Huntington Township (Lorain County), Ohio who administered the township's Civil War bounty fund. The collection consists of letters, enrollment lists, receipts, and other financial papers relating to the Huntington bounty fund, which paid volunteers to join the Union military during the American Civil War.
