Alice Josephine Hutchens attended Oregon State College from 1938 until 1941, when she earned a BS in Secretarial Science. Prior to her enrollment at Oregon State, Hutchens attended Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, She was born in Forest Grove on January 21, 1917 and attended high school there.
