The Department of Planning and Construction was created in 1956. The functions of the office were chiefly to develop and revise the campus master plan, prepare program guides for new construction, and coordinate the work of project architects. This collection contains correspondence, memoranda, meeting minutes, reports, photoprints, and architectural drawings related to campus planning and the design of campus buildings.
