Utah Engineering Experiment Station records 1974-1987

The Utah Engineering Experiment Station (UEES) was established in 1909 by the Utah State Legislature to encourage a close working relationship between the School of Mines and Utah industries. It now reports to the dean of the College of Engineering and the dean of the College of Mines and Earth Science. The Station conducts research, tests products, publishes reports, and sponsors conferences. This collection contains correspondence, project files, reports and grant proposals. Included are files of the Tar Sands Pilot Plant Project.
