Fred Finkelstein, of Flushing, NY, entered Northwestern University in 1975. He graduated from the College of Arts and Sciences in 1979 with a Bachelor's Degree in history, writing his senior thesis on “The Impact of McCarthyism on the Faculty of Northwestern University, 1945-55.” His advisors were history faculty members James J. Sheehan and Michael S. Sherry. Finkelstein went on to obtain a law degree from Vanderbilt University in 1984. He practices law in Bellevue, Washington. ...
